Extending my original November challenge “sketching dreary places” (and I don’t mean exciting derelict spaces - but rather ordinary, dull, grim looking places) into the new year. Ugliness is a big part of our shared surrounding - and so if my sketches are going to have any affinity with my life, dreariness has to become a part of it.
