I am currently working on a series of small landscapes, using my local surroundings as “starting-off-point“ – but trying to move in the direction of more abstraction. Starting with collage of hand-painted papers (limited palette)

Working across with more painterly marks.

At the moment these small panels (30×30 cm) are all in the very beginning, and I’m trying to go slow – to stop my self from overworking things. I like that there is still a lot of white space in my panels, it gives me a sense of freedom regarding the further process.

I also notice I have a tendency to draw with my paint – ?! Oh, well – still weeks to go…
