As you might notice my pen suddenly ran out of ink – and thus the pen decided THE END on its own.

I have not used this fountain pen (a Platinum PTL-5000 14k Gold Nib + Carbon black permanent pigment ink) for sketching before – but will without doubt use it again. I have previously been sketching with a Lamy Safari, but never been very happy with the result. Now I reckon it might not be the fountain pen “per se” that is the problem, maybe it is all about finding the right one …

My mentor Pat says:

This ultra fine pen suits your hand Sigrun… on white and paler papers. Maybe keep the Lamy for toned grounds.
