things i do for love

what you see … is what you get

I am doing a mini project:

Every day I make a drawing using no more than 3 minutes (using a timer …), without lifting my pen from the paper. In this sketch, day 38, it seems I’m trying to get in touch with the soul of flower, or at least capturing the lushness of a wonderfully exuberant clematis —

I love your “things I do for love” posts!! Setting a time limit on the clematis drawing is a wonderful way to include mini-sessions of doing things you love….great idea. Thank you.

      Thank you!
The 3 minutes are all about speed and looseness – not worrying about the result, just letting hand and eyes work together.

Stunning. And what a cool daily process too.

Thank you! I have stopped meditating and started drawing instead 🙂

  3. Makes me want to pick up (or not pick up) my pen again. Great practice, & a lovely result!
