Several years ago there was a fire on this site. There were no lives lost, but sever damages done to several buildings. While the town council are quarreling about whether to restore or build new, I’m trying to capture the beauty of these ugly ruins.
It is sort of a lullaby to personal failure to see how textured, luminous and defiant the inevitable collapse of industry and architecture can be. At least I think that is why I find it beautiful.
It looks like someone has put a painting of a goose on it? Or a stork?
