apropos lack of rain: we have had several big heath-fires by the coast the last week, and fishing-villages has burned down, due to storms but no snow (the vegetation is dry as dust as if it were midsummer, not mid-winter!)

I noticed ‘that leg’ ! 😉 Yes it’s like one long October going into April here.
