I have yet to discover any connection between the bathtub project and my search for beauty, but I guess a link will turn up somewhere along the way …This image is from Lundsneset, a 15 minutes walk from my house. I haven’t seen any cattle nor any sheep on these fields since I moved here. But I know there are lots of roe deers in the woods. So the obvious question must be: do roe deers drink from bathtubs too?
ps: I must admit I find the fencing rather interesting …
That’s excellent Canadian fencing, that is. I humbly, in true goat trickster fashion, with a wink and a bouquet of flowers between my goaty teeth, ask you this, Sigrun…do people drink from an artwork by Cezanne? Maaaa-aaaaa! Farmers have their own art, I think, on the same level of practicality as a very famous piece of French bathroom porcelain. I bet mosquitoes breed in there, though.
– very nice!
🙂
Hi. I’ve been thinking about your bathtub project. When I worked in the field of water quality, we used to encourage farmers to give the cattle alternative sources of water so they would not break down the edges of the streams. So bathtubs reused this way are environmentally beautiful. Jane
How interesting, I had no idea – thank you!
