  1. Heh heh… I do that trick all the time…. write in lines. Somehow it really does seem so much more deep !!! One of the great literary illusions I guess. 🙂

  2. There is the curious matter of the space the words (almost) contain, like trees the wind blows, like wind the trees blow through.

    • I’m reading Kim Addonizio, she says:
      “Scientists have discovered that outer space – what we think of as space – isn’t. It turns out there is something they call dark matter, and it exists between the stars. So maybe for a poem, the page is white matter, rather than blank space.”

      White matter …
