SPACE HAS A SPIRITUAL EQUIVALENT AND CAN HEAL WHAT IS DIVIDED AND BURDENSOME IN US … SPACE REPRESENT SANITY, NOT A LIFE PURIFIED, DULL, OR “SPACED OUT” BUT ONE THAT MIGHT ACCOMMODATE INTELLIGENTLY ANY IDEA OR SITUATION

    This is an elegantly conceived building, thanks. With the space inside, instead of around it: fantastic. I can add that in grasslands, however, knocking down trees is exactly the point, because they are weeds, but in a forest, ahh, fantastic. Do you have examples of architecture appropriate to grasslands? I’d love to see.

  3. I am nodding my head vigorously in agreement! My father did not like to cut down trees, and at our cottage he would go to great lengths to build around them (as in this photo). Which was no mean feat considering the rocky geography he was working with…
